The Vela Sarong is a sarong, yes, but it’s really anything you need it to be. Made from light and airy 100% cotton voile, it’s designed to catch the breeze and dry quickly in the sun. The generous size means it can be tied as a long skirt, a dress, an easy swim cover-up, folded to a short style, or become a comfy place to lie on sand — it’s a choose-your-own-adventure kind of piece.

The large print, originally a collage of hand-painted elements, is designed to appear differently with every fold, the flowers and vase becoming abstract shapes when worn. The 70s-inspired colour palette lends itself easily to both neutral and bright styling, whether you draw on the chocolate browns, cream, and tan, or the warm oranges, red, and Aegean Sea blue.

With some creative folding, the Vela sarong can be worn as a long skirt, a short skirt, a top and a scarf.
